My husband and I chose Christian education for our children because we wanted them to learn about the world through God’s eyes — we believe He is in absolutely everything, in every subject, even math.

Over the years we’ve been part of several Christian schools, and what I’ve loved most is the community — like one huge extended family. We met some of our closest friends there, and so did our kids.

In 1997, when our oldest started kindergarten, the tax credit law had just passed, and honestly, we didn’t pay much attention to it. Six years later, a friend asked if he could recommend our daughter for ACSTO and took the time to explain the program to me. (Thank you, Scott Yarbrough!) If not for that conversation, I honestly don’t know how we would have afforded to send our other two children to a Christian school.

We are so blessed and thankful for the education we were able to provide all three of our kids, grounded in God’s Word, and none of it would have been possible without ACSTO.
