The Cornell Family — A Parent’s ACSTO Story
Valley Christian Schools — Sara Cornell, parent
Six years ago, we saw where education was heading and knew we wanted to make a change for our children. We knew our son was capable of more, and we wanted him challenged not just academically, but spiritually as well.
What I love most is that my boys are surrounded by godly teachers who constantly push and encourage them to deepen their relationship with Christ.
Starting out, we were a one-income family, and we knew there was no way sending even one child to private Christian school was in the cards. Six years later, our income has grown, but we now have two children’s tuition to pay, and we still rely heavily on tax credit scholarships.
Just trust. Take a leap of faith and pray that if it’s God’s will for your family to be in Christian school, He will provide a way. It’s scary, but you’ll never know if you don’t try.
