ACSTO is distinctly Christian. We partner with over 130 Christian Schools in Arizona because our passion is to build God's kingdom through Christian Schools.
We believe in the divine inspiration (2 Timothy 3:16), truthfulness (Proverbs 30:5), and authority (John 1:1) of both the Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety without error (2 Peter 1:20-21). They are the only written word of God in all they affirm, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice (Romans 10:17).
We believe in the one eternal God (Mark 12:29), Creator and Lord of the universe (Genesis 1:1), always existing in three persons (John 17:11): Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each possessing divine perfection.
We believe God, the Father, is perfect in holiness (Deuteronomy 32:4), infinite in wisdom (Psalm 139:1-16), and measureless in power (Jeremiah 32:17). He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, hears and answers prayer, and saves all who come to Him by faith through Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:11).
We believe God, the Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, is God’s only begotten Son (Galatians 4:4), conceived by the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35), born of the Virgin Mary (Matthew 1:20), and is true God and man (Colossians 2:19), and sinless in His life (Hebrews 4:15). We believe in His miracles (Acts 19:11), in His vicarious and atoning death (Romans 3:25) through shed blood (John 19:34), in His bodily resurrection (Matthew 28:1-10), in His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Luke 24:51), and in His personal visible return to the world (Hebrews 9:28) according to His promise.
We believe God, the Holy Spirit, is the third person of the Trinity (Mark 1:10-11) who came from God to convince the world of sin (John 16:8), righteousness, and judgment and to regenerate all who believe in Jesus Christ (Ezekiel 36:25-27). We believe He indwells the believer (1 Corinthians 6:19) and by His present ministry, enables the Christian to live a godly life (Romans 8:4-6), different from the world.
We believe that all men by nature and by choice are perishing because of sin (1 John 1:8). God offers His life to all men (Genesis 6:5), not wishing that any should perish (Acts 17:30) but that all should repent. Those who reject Christ repudiate the joy of salvation and condemn themselves to eternal separation from God (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9). Believers are called upon to proclaim Jesus as the only Savior and to invite all men to respond to Him as Savior and Lord in a wholehearted personal commitment of repentance and faith (Matthew 28:19-20). Those who believe and confess Christ as Lord and Savior (Romans 10:10) will rejoice forever in God’s presence (Philippians 3:20-21).
